This year will see in the region of 900 million Christmas cards sent throughout the UK. Without wanting to kill the Christmas spirit before it starts, that’s a lot of waste paper come January.

So the team at EvaStore decided to do something about it and they are asking you and your school to get involved. Their aim is to recycle as many Christmas Cards as possible and your school could be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize.

Gary Tait, General Manager at EvaStore explains ‘the UK has a rich tradition of sending and receiving cards, so we thought what better time of year to help focus the children’s minds on the benefits of recycling’

Gobowen School were the first to sign up and their Headmaster Mr. Walsh went on to say “We are delighted to be working with EvaStore on this recycling campaign.  It fits in perfectly with our plans for the future and helps the pupils feel part of a bigger environmental drive”

So EvaStore are looking for your school to get involved.  If your school is based within a 20 mile radius of Oswestry, then please do get in touch with them and see how your school can get involved and be in with a chance of winning a year’s free paper recycling!
